Art Club 2000 is organizing a collective Art exhibition which consists of 30 paintings and sculptures, depicting various subjects in different media, like water colour, oil, acrylic, pen and ink, pencil. All exhibiting artists are members of the Art Club 2000.

This year the club is organizing seven exhibitions, the first one was at Casino Notabile in Mdina, the second at Hilltop Gardens in Naxxar, the third at Monte Kristo in Siggiewi, the fourth at Iljieli Melleħin in Mellieħa, the fifth at the Ministry for Gozo’s exhibition Hall in VictorIa Gozo. The sixth one was at the club’s premises in Mellieħa, held during the village feast which attracts people from all over Malta. Also, tour operators promote the feast as a tourist attraction. This is a unique exhibition in Malta, since all paintings and sculptures are exhibited on the rustic walls along the street in front of the premises. Also all the other crafts taught at the club, are displayed inside the Art Club. Last year’s exhibition attracted over 1000 visitors. The seventh exhibition will be during Notte Bianca in Valletta.
Art Club 2000 is a non-profitable organisation and has been operating successfully in Mellieha for the past 18 years. Its aim is to promote art and craft, by giving practical help to those wishing to improve their capabilities. Thus we hold courses in various artistic subjects and hold regular exhibitions to ensure that local talent can progress and expand. All this is achieved by volunteers.
