Following the success of recent years, Arts Council Malta is excited to present the twelfth edition of Malta’s largest outdoor festival. This year’s Notte Bianca will be held on Saturday, 7th October. The Notte Bianca team would like to invite interested parties to submit expressions of interest to be considered for the 2017 programme. This application is a means to express your interest to participate in the event. Moreover, through this expression of interest, we want to listen to any great ideas out there waiting to become fantastic projects. If these fit within our artistic vision for this year, we will be setting up meetings to listen to your concepts and work hand in hand to develop them.

Expressions of interest should be delivered by hand and addressed to Notte Bianca, Arts Council Malta, ‘Casa Scaglia’ 16, Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, Valletta or through the form below by not later than Monday, 13th February 2017 at noon. Further information may be obtained by email on [email protected]. Late applications will not be accepted.

Over the years, Notte Bianca has established itself as a staple event within the Maltese arts festival scene. Atmosfera is a fringe programme of events occurring in parallel to the main Notte Bianca programme. These events are freewheeling entertainments inspired by the city’s hustle, created by diverse individuals and hosted in varied spaces. Atmosfera maintains Notte Bianca's ethos of making Valletta an open-city of culture. Churches, state palaces and museums open their doors to visitors until the early hours, hosting exhibitions and concerts, while other establishments join in the festivities with a multitude of activities.

Whether you have a space in Valletta and would like to host your own free event, or wish to open your doors to an ongoing Notte Bianca event, or even if you wish to create a project in collaboration with a particular space under your own steam, you should apply to be part of Notte Bianca Atmosfera. Applications to be listed in the Notte Bianca Atmosfera programme will be launched separately in the month of July 2017.
